Speed of life

 

Whether it is a downhill ride, controlling your bike at a speed of 40 Kmph or some thoughts hijacking your mind making you feel high, its all energy that flows within us.

How these moments help you further enersize the rest of the day , is I am going to talk here.

 

Lets consider a situation in a day without any unplanned activities. How does that day goes. Is’t is very relaxed just not so much to achieve in that day. Most of the time once you observe , you can reflect that most of the time you just keep thinking and keep thinking without any tangible out come end of the day.

Now, imagine a day , where just after getting up from the bed, you have piles of task to be accomplished, rushing to the office ,reaching on time and start the pending works etc. However, even this day looks in a hyper paced, actually you achieve something and it also gives some sense of satisficstion. Even a small small accomplishments in your terms , helps you keep your energy flkowing through out the day.

 

Here is an another example. How do you value time ? Not a challenging right, but have you ever thought about how a 15 min saved also can also give you some fulfillment.  In a busy day in traffic condition in a city , how can you have time. In an experiment on a commuter who tried both by bus and cycle, revealed some astonishing results.On a work day once he has to commute 20km by bus he needs to spend around 1.5 hr , excluding the waiting time.  Even though the goal of the commuter to reach with minimum time , he actually spends not only during the bus , but also many anxiety related to seat availability, waiting time etc.

But, one he tried few days by riding bicycle, he was surprised  to see that, it took around 1 hr 15 min on average, which is a 20 min saved on every commute. Interestingly, he also observed that, his energy was uplifting after his rides provided a sufficient post ride nutrition.
